i fell hard for this soap when i studied abroad in Florence, Italy. there’s something indescribably chic about a good bar of soap, packaged in some of the most glorious paper you can imagine. once or twice a year, i head to the Merz Apothecary in Chicago to stock up on my $11.50 / bar soap. i like to store it in my underwear drawer until I’m ready to use it. it makes my unmentionables smell divine.
